About Us

LKIS is a school set up in spacious premises near Bawana on the outskirts of Delhi with lush green surroundings and large playgrounds, located in front of the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Bawana.

The school is built with ultra modern facilities keeping in mind the need to cater to the integrated development of the children- physically, mentally and socially. Special attention is given to curricular activities & games.

At LKIS we believe that education can foster understanding among young people around the world. Inter-culture awareness enables the future generations to live peacefully and productively with each other. With our educational Endeavour we wish to continue significantly toward global peace, harmony and understanding.

LKIS has eminent members of the society and educationists in its managing committee and the team of its highly dedicated and motivated staff is headed by a principal with years of teaching and administrative experience. Their qualifications, experience and commitment are given priority before appointment. Regular teacher orientation workshops are held to keep them abreast of the latest pedagogical advance

It was really a distant dream coming true for the people of Delhi have the students of this region could appear for their examinations from an international school. It is well known fact and truth that every great achievement has a humble beginning, so has L.K. International standard on 31st March 30, 2004 with its front batch. It is run by Veena educational and culture welfare society. We are not ignorant of the challengers of this knowledge age. Learning of our students is never confirmed to a few subjects and books. In its guest for the pursuit of new horizons of knowledge and in its endeavor to remain fine tuned with the emergent trends in the field of education. All over the globe with the inspiration of Padam Shree Satpal, Deputy Director of education, Govt. of Delhi. So co-curricular activities are given as much importance as the curriculum students are given ample opportunities to excel in various fields through a number of activities. Besides having conducting literary, cultural and sports competitions, students are given exposure in all aspects of their practical life so our focus is not only to import in students the knowledge. In more intellectual periphery but also to instill in them the entire gamut of ethical values. As they grow in their personality we also make it sure that they nature in them a sense of social responsibility and love for the nation.

To give birth to the upright and morally sound individuals in knowledge and practical wisdom is the midwifery role of the schools. So the character formation and discipline of the young minds are given almost importance and care. Moreover, the different activities from the psychosocial development and physical well being of the students. Hence every year competitions on the art and literature, sports and games and debates on national and International issues are conducted to develop the dormant talent of the students in the making of nature individual in wisdom and discernment. In view of their integral and harmonious development which aims at nourishing they are encouraged to take part in competition conducted in International, national as well as state level and they had won numerous prizes in a variety of items. spirit in them,
